Milestone’s XProtect Platform integrates with TDSi’s GARDiS Software via Orbnet’s middleware solution. This allows XProtect to receive information from a connected GARDiS Access Control Unit via TDSi’s GARDiS REST API subject to the correct GARDiS Milestone Integration License, Orbnet License and Milestone XProtect Software.
Made in collaboration with Orbnet, the GARDiS integration for Milestone XProtect allows connection and management of GARDiS within Milestone XProtect Access to give a streamlined video management system complete with security processes and management of users and visitor events. Linking GARDiS to the Milestone system harnesses the power of Access Control data for your Video Management System allowing users to save time investigating incidents. XProtect Access allows you to connect a GARDiS Access Control system directly to Milestone’s XProtect VMS. It is designed to fit perfectly with any XProtect product. No matter your installation size, with XProtect access you can control your video cameras and access your control system from a central interface. Trigger Milestone rules with GARDiS events to allow a proactive response to alerts.

This Milestone Integration with the GARDiS Access Control Software Platform also requires a subscription to the Milestone XProtect Software Platform which is available from Milestone directly. For full integration functionality, please see Orbnet’s GARDiS Integration Manual. Primary product support for the Milestone XProtect Platform and the Orbnet Middleware Connection are provided by Milestone and Orbnet respectively.
